YESS~! I did it! After 2 weeks and 3 hours of chionging, I finally finished Feng Yun 2! YF-jie keep me in suspense until I thought that the ending was so nice. However, a little bit of disappointment. I think she meant to say that maybe Duan Lang was controlling everything in the end. Just that I'll rather watch Di Shi Tian being the bad guy being killed in the end. Duan Lang appears to me like a fool who can't bring out the essence of a final bad guy. He has always suited roles of TRYING to be the bad guy but being controlled by the bad guy in the end. Moreover, they missed the monk, how he ended up, and what did he do in the end. I was expecting him to be the mastermind, maybe Di Shi Tian's master or something like that. So that there'll be a Feng Yun 3 before they get old. Looks like there wouldn't be a Feng Yun 3, and perhaps, Nie Feng's stupid ending expression will be etched in my heart. Thats the most inappropriate way to end a nice show. He smiled so much all throughout the show and he JUST had to do this at the end of the show. Terrible.
What's commendable in the show is the strong focus in the gruelling fates Feng & Yun had to deal with in their love life. 3 woman died for Bu Jing Yun, 2 woman fell in love with Nie Feng and there was only 1 who survived everything-Di Er Meng, whose hair looks lame in this sequel and has also lost his heart shaped scar on her face. (Alright, I'm just not satisfied with this great amount of change in her). Kinships and brotherhood were also potrayed as a touching story in the form of Huai Mie and Huai Kong. Almost tear jerking this one. Continuation of twists in the story were also vital to the plot as it wakes the viewers who may have accidentally fell asleep during LONG conversations. Ancient people are really long-winded. But hey, the twists are really shocking, one point I like about Feng Yun 2. Another of them is the use of beautiful ladies as the casts. Truly enjoyed those eye-candies. =P Well, for Feng Yun 2, I'll give it a 3.5/5. I guess Feng Yun 1 still ranks better than Feng Yun 2. YY-jie is right. After I finished watching it, I felt empty. Suddenly, there was nothing to do. Not only I feel empty, my stomach feels empty. Its 3.35 a.m now. Better start cooking noodles and pondering about what to do later in the afternoon. =X
