Good old Lantern Festival is back. Of course, for me, its only about mooncakes. Play fire during primary school until don't want to play already. My dad brought home lots of mooncake, and mum decided that she could scrimp a bit on meals since we had mooncakes. Now I hate mooncakes. But nevertheless, the mooncakes are so special these year. We've seen enough of roasted and snow-skinned ones. Now comes the bite-sized ones, rock type ones and even one that's made entirely out of durian. Talk about creativity.

Look carefully, the chinese word describes what it is.

Does this look like a mooncake to you?

My cousins had lotsa fun playing with lanterns though. They reminded me of my childhood days. I remembered that my brother and I nearly burnt the whole balcony playing with lanterns there. Seriously, the fun lies in the fire, not in the lanterns, RIGHT? So, aiyah, I decided to join in with the kids playing with candles anyway.

There're the old schoolboy style lanterns..

and the musical ones..

Spiderman looks obscene here.

they're totally annoying. Imagine a Nokia 3310 that rings for 3 hours non-stop. >_< Perhaps they should produce lanterns that play MP3 tones. They're more pleasant. =)

The kids..

and HE! the youngest of all..

Fuck, he ran into my dick after I took this picture.

and he was looking whether his mother was around..

no one around, and he decided to join in!

they left a mess..

Miss Candle got melted here.

Oh well, that's for all. Back to mooncakes. =X
