Yes, we can't sleep on full stomachs. But I just realised we can't sleep on empty stomachs either. And here I am now, eating noodles while blogging since I can't sleep anyway. Listening to all the ballads seem to fit my mood now. And to the bear in camp now, yes, I couldn't get to sleep after lying on my bed for an hour.

Went to Queensway with xiaobai, wp and julian today. I just knew that damn xiaobai was still sleeping, so fortunately I gave her a call to wake her up. Everyone was punctual except her. No doubt about that. So a few Eastside people began walking in an unfamiliar town called Queensway and found nice Hainanese Chicken Rice. It was simple fare that tasted absolutely delightful. Drinks were on Julian's house, so thanks bud. =)

Continued into Queensway Shopping Complex to look at shoes. Actually, my motive was to buy a pair of slippers. My talking slippers can now sing, " HI, MY NAME IS JOE.." and I had to plaster its mouth to make it walk instead of talk. But I spent my time wandering aimlessly with wp and Julian instead, watching them buy their shoes. xiaobai finally arrived at that time too and they were dissuading me from buying a pair of slippers. God knows what they were doing, but I couldn't stop drooling over a pair of brown Adidas slippers. In the end, only I went back empty-handed; all of them were bought something. -.-

After we left, we headed for school to watch CI. Thought of all the stupid ways to tempt those GPs, especially that bear. We were telling them that we were going to eat Mcdonald, KFC, blahhs~ CI looked particularly fun. Maybe it was the duration that is forcing the campers to enjoy every bit of time they have in the camp. I just knew I enjoyed the feeling of watching a camp without participating in it. Had nothing to do anyway, so we went back to club to entertain the half-dead bear and Xueli with all those lame cheers we learnt in IE. I guess we succeeded, did we?

Went off later with Edric and Kristie for dinner at Kovan. I was reluctantly dragged there. PSed Bobby and guys for a while. During dinner, started talking heartily about anything and everything under the Sun. Well, we found that Edric suck at eating Western food as well. We finally left for home at around 9+, and I was actually beaming in my heart over a day wonderfully spent out instead of afternoon naps all around on my schedule. I discovered my friends haven't left when I reached the Ring, so I managed to get a bit of street soccer action too. Long time since I kicked a ball, and enjoyed it too, not mentioning some of the cuts I suffered since I was playing barefooted.

Oh yeah, did I mention my house has a new member? My brother just got a chinchilla from dunno-where. Don't have a name for it, so you're free to suggest one for it. Its damn cute sia, but looks kinda naughty. Its always trying to bite off the wood from its 'house'. Well, I don't really care though, its my brother who will be taking care of it. I'll just play with it. =D

I hate lonely nights like this...
